URBAN SPREE GALERIE

Urban Spree is a 1700 sqm artistic space in Berlin-Friedrichshain dedicated to urban subcultures through exhibitions, artist residencies, DIY workshops, concerts, an art store and a large biergarten.
I started working there as a gallery assistant in 2021, position that led me to curate as well the visual communication for some of their art shows, both for social media and printed matters. Spacing between stickers and posters, brochures and zines, it’s being a super fun ride.
This Could've Been an Email, presents the most recent works of the Berlin-based German artist Lars Wunderlich. Painting internet phenomena, dissecting the meme culture, transforming our perception of reality (are what we are seeing real?) is what he excels in his exhibition.
Sumer Pieces by Howtokillagraffiti focus on medium-sized works and most importantly, a reconnection with graffiti as a form of freedom, as a necessity to break the rules and affirm the indelible presence of graffiti in painting.
Edge of Freedom, a photographic group show dedicated to forbidden and abandoned places, urban exploration, extreme urban climbing and train-surfing across the world.
Persona, the first solo show in Germany of the Athens-based painter and muralist Monos Cωtos.
Second Wind, show of the L.A.-based visual artist Jonni Cheatwood, which run in parallel with The Weight of the World is Love by the Finnish artist EGS.
